Every since the beginning of his existence, born Jamaris Earl Tubbs on March 31, 1985; he was always a child of fine art growing up. Fascinated in anything to do with creativity, he constantly expressed himself through avenues such as music, fashion, poetry, art, skating, and etc. Presenting him with such southern swagger, the Georgia native grew up listening to hip hop as early as age 5, producing an eternal love for it to a place where he can’t resist it. Spending most of his years growing up as a teenager, he thrived on creating a style for himself that wasn’t a typical sound, separating himself from others that were trying to be part of the hip hop culture. J. Tubbs is known by his mind-blowing metaphoric floetry mixed with a twist of suave flow and his dirty south mouthpiece which brings another level to being crunk and yet still having his cool, charming presence with such persuasion of drawing in a universal audience with his widespread appeal. Influenced by heavyweight artists such as T.I., Ludacris, Lil’ Wayne, and Outkast, J. Tubbs found it only right to be a individual and not a “industry clone” to the world of music, seeing that individualism is everything in being a true entertainer. So with that being said, J. Tubbs quite frankly has a style that is unforgettable and pretty much going to, if not already, change the world of music and its culture.
